I participated in a winter styled photo shoot this month at a beautiful new wedding venue called 48 Fields located in Leesburg, Virginia. It was put together by wedding planner Erin Goodrich of A Charming Affair and included a group of very talented wedding vendors: Kari Schriever of Lark Floral Design, Lara Stuckey of Fluffy Thoughts who provided the cake, Jamie D’Agostino of Jamie D’Agostino Hair & Makeup, Caitlin Wechtaluk of Third Clover who provided the stationary and signage, calligrapher Amy Webber of Sincerely Amy Designs, Madison McGuire of Ascot Diamonds, Rosanna Smith of Bella Villa and Aly Rohling of La Bella Luce who both provided lighting, Michele Mandrgoc of White Glove Rentals who provided the vintage furniture rentals, Jeanette Quintero of Party Crush Studio who provided the runners and styling gauze, Kira & Philip Luca who were kind enough to model for us, Bridget Moore of K&B Bridals who provided the gown for our female model, Martina Liana of Essence Designs who designed the gown, Randie Schoenberg McConnell of Faye Daniel Designs who provided bridal accessories, The Black Tux who provided tux for our male model, Kimberly Ross of India Hicks who provided the welcome basket, La Tavola Fine Linens who provided napkins and pillows, Party Rental LTD, Artifacture who provided custom signage, Tono & Co. who provided silk ribbon, and The Mrs. Box who provided a ring box. As you can see from this list of vendors, it takes a lot of participation to create a successful styled photo shoot!
The rustic feel of this century old, two story barn surrounded by rolling hills makes it the perfect venue for a wedding anytime of the year! Both levels make for a great event space. I loved all the details of this styled photo shoot, especially the purple and gold themed reception table set up with tall candles and floating chandeliers! I am looking forward to shooting a real wedding one day at 48 Fields and am excited to see the venue evolve as they continue to renovate the property.
